- between black and white…
Photography has always been a companion to my work as a graphic designer, shaping the way I observe the world through composition, light, and form.
Over more than four decades, a camera has traveled with me through cities, quiet streets, landscapes, and places both familiar and unfamiliar. What began as a way of documenting experiences gradually became a way of understanding them.
This collection follows a journey through six interconnected themes—Structures, Thresholds, Passages, Patterns, Traces, and Presence. Together they explore how we experience the built world, move through it, recognize its hidden rhythms, uncover the marks left by time, and ultimately discover the human presence that gives every place its meaning.
These are not assignments or commercial photographs. They are personal observations—stories found in the spaces between black and white.
